Earlier this week, I had the privilege of attending the California Cannabis Business Conference. It was such an empowering and educational experience for me! The event was full of people who are passionate about cannabis and making sure the industry succeeds. Sometimes being surrounded by so many people can make one feel overwhelmed, but this event was very different. All the people there were hoping to find answers to the many questions they have about the cannabis world, and I felt very at home with this crowd.
I have spent a lot of time learning everything about cannabis; different types of business, the federal and state laws governing it and the intricacy of doing accounting in compliance with all these laws. I decided to attend this convention to “meet and greet” the movers and doers of the industry, as well as meet business owners in hopes of turning them into clients. After spending two days in this miniature world of cannabis, I found myself even more excited and more passionate about choosing to be part of this industry.
I will be the first one to confess and be humbled enough to say I was wrong in my assumption that the attendees might be a little less professional than what I was hoping for. Instead, I met many brilliant and committed people that are ready to help others, as well as find help for themselves.
At the California Cannabis Business Conference, I learned so much from the experts that my mind is overflowing with the different ways my team can help your cannabis businesses succeed. There are so many moving parts to connect and I am committed to slowly but surely connecting the dots for our followers and future clients.
